Background

Diagnosis of apnea is a cumbersome process that involves a polysomnography (PSG). Ballistocardiogram (BCG) is a method to measure minute body vibrations arising from cardiac, respiratory and body movements.

Objective

To evaluate a novel non-contact BCG as a screening method for measuring severity of sleep apnea.
